Live Demonstration

Dr. Andrey Lutskovsky will show the procedure and discuss how different types of threads support the tissue & help to rejuvenate the skin and stimulate more collagen production. He will also discuss the benefits of stem cell therapy for beauty and the entire body’s health.

Dr. Andrey Lutskovsky D.O. received his medical degree upon graduation from Kharkov Medical University in the Ukraine in 1987. After graduation, he worked for six years as a general and trauma surgeon. In 2004, he earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following graduation, Dr. Lutskovsky moved to Michigan for his residency; and he decided to make it his new home. Dr. Lutskovsky is an active member of the American Osteopathic Association of Prolotherapy Regenerative Medicine (AOAPRM), the American Osteopathic Association and the Michigan Osteopathic Association.

A panel of the Association of Holistic Skin Care Practitioner’s experts and board members which include medical doctors and holistic professionals, will discuss holistic solutions for cystic acne, rosacea, and dermatitis.

What Is Your Skin Telling You About Your Health? This workshop will explore skin from the inside out looking at internal and external factors that impact vibrant skin, discuss effective, natural, and safe treatment options, and highlight natural and organic ingredients and remedies that address a variety of skin related issues.

Keeley Lore has extensive training in advanced face and body treatments and holistic skin care techniques. She is a Certified Natural Health Professional, a Nutritional Response Practitioner, internationally trained in Medical Foot Care, Reflexology, Acupressure & Massage Therapy, and has a Master’s Degree from Western Michigan University.

 

2:25 – 3:15pm – Methylation, Natural Therapies, and Endocrine Health

Anxiety, depression, learning disorders, focus, energy, and other ailments can stem from bio-chemical imbalances. This workshop will discuss how the methylation cycle and mineral/vitamin imbalances impacts hormonal balance and health and discuss diagnostic tools to determine and help guide us in treating these imbalances.

Dr. Mark Gerold is a board certified family medicine physician with more than 15 years of experience. After obtaining his medical degree from Michigan State University, he practiced at the Gratiot Community Hospital in Alma, Michigan, Family Medical Care in nearby Breckenridge, and now for Covenant Medical Group. He has a special interest in functional medicine and is trained in Walsh nutrient protocols.

 

3:15 – 4:15pm – Sugaring Vs. Waxing

In this hands on workshop, you will learn the benefits of sugaring hair removal and you will learn how to make a safe and edible epilatory product for your clients.

Julia Atanassova is a licensed esthetician, holistic skin care educator, and successful spa owner.

 

4:25 – 5:15pm – Acupuncture for Hormone Balance

Jessica Silber, will discuss how Chinese Medicine and acupuncture can help treat many types of hormone imbalances for all ages. Examples include: fertility problems, pregnancy, skin issues such as acne, hair loss or greying of hair, women’s menstrual cycle irregularities, PMS, and menopausal symptoms.

Jessica Silber, MSTOM, Dipl. OM, is a national-board certified acupuncturist who has been in practice in Michigan for the past 7 years. She earned her 4-year Master of Science degree from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago, and her Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from Michigan State University. Jessica currently practices Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in Kalamazoo, and specializes in women’s health issues.

Essential oils are the life force of the plant kingdom and for the holistic practitioner – offer an abundant source of therapeutic applications which may be employed in the management of rosacea and sensitive skin subtypes, as well as substantiating viable support for general well- being. Essential oils and companion products such as hydrosols, herbal tinctures, floral waters and refined mineral clays all offer the practitioner a unique platform for providing highly customized and targeted therapeutics for compromised skin . The complexities of the sensitive skin types present the opportunity to integrate botanical components that may have a substantial impact in the reduction of the traditional hallmarks of sensitive skin and sensitive skin syndrome. This module is positioned to heighten both the understanding and appreciation of essential oils, and is designed to inspire the practitioner from a vantage point of becoming more familiar with the clinical view of essential oils, and how to utilize them in innovative ways to assist in the management of sensitive and compromised skin.

Dr. Erin Madigan-Fleck is a licensed esthetic instructor and an educational icon known in for her expertise in wellness, dermatological skin sciences and holistic aesthetics – she is a contributing author for Skin Inc; Dermascope, and Les Nouvelles Esthetique Magazines. Dr. Madigan-Fleck is a Nationally Certified Health Professional, holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Natural Health, a Master of Science degree in Holistic Nutrition, and a Doctorate in Traditional Naturopathy. She received her Naturopathic Medical Doctoral Degree from the University of Science, Arts & Technology College of Medicine – Dr. Madigan-Fleck has a private practice in Atlanta, GA. – Naturophoria.

Reading ingredient lists for makeup can be very complicated. Elina will discuss the safety and toxicity of ingredients commonly found in makeup products. Learn about how you can make health conscious suggestions for your client’s makeup selection. Nina Bianchi (Make-Up Artist) will demonstrate corrective makeup applications for different complexions.

Doris Crocker has 20 years’ experience in hands-on healing. She uses color and sound with assistance of ascended masters and archangels. Doris achieves healing by releasing issues from the tissue and creating balance where the body has been disturbed by our changing times. She is also a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.

 

3:00 – 3:45pm – A 25 Year Experiment in Anti-Aging

Doug Lofland, a science orientated industrial developer, has spent 25 years learning everything he could about the various anti-aging processes, and then trying them on himself to see if they work. He has followed the industry since it earliest days. He will outline what has worked and what has not, and easy ways to measure if something is working.

Doug Lofland is currently the CEO of White Cliff Minerals, a company that manufactures calcium products in Miami.
